Job Description:

We are looking for a Material Engineer with experience in fit-out or joinery works to manage material selection, technical submittals, and quality compliance. The candidate will ensure that all materials meet project specifications, approved standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Review material specifications, technical submittals, and samples for fit-out and joinery works.

Coordinate material approvals with consultants, clients, suppliers, and project teams.

Evaluate materials such as wood, MDF, plywood, laminates, veneers, hardware, finishes, and other interior fit-out materials.

Ensure materials comply with project specifications, quality standards, and approved samples.

Coordinate with procurement, design, production, and site teams regarding material requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field.

Experience in material engineering within the fit-out, joinery, or interior construction industry.

Good knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, hardware, and supplier specifications.

Ability to review technical submittals and material compliance documents.

UAE experience in fit-out or joinery projects is preferred.
