We are looking for a Rebar Detailer (ECC Design Studio - India) who will be responsible for preparing precise shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and reinforcement details for concrete structures. The role ensures that all reinforcement steel (rebar) is accurately detailed in accordance with structural drawings, project specifications, and construction standards

Key Responsibilities
• Study and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Prepare rebar shop drawings for beams, slabs, columns, foundations, walls, and other structural elements.
• Generate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) with accurate quantities, shapes, and sizes.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, and site teams to resolve detailing issues.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, codes (ACI, BS, IS, etc.), and client requirements.
• Review and revise drawings based on RFIs (Requests for Information), design changes, and comments.
• Optimize rebar placement to ensure constructability and material efficiency.
• Perform quantity take-offs for reinforcement steel.
• Maintain documentation and records of all detailing work.
• Assist procurement and planning teams with material estimation and ordering.

A. Minimum Qualifications:

Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

B. Minimum Experience:
• Typically 2–8 years of experience in rebar detailing or structural detailing in contracting or fabrication companies.
C. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
Knowledge of rebar detailing software such as:
• Revit (Structure)
• Tekla Structures
• CADS RC / ASD / RebarCAD
Strong understanding of:
• Structural drawings and reinforcement detailing principles
• Concrete structures and construction practices
Familiarity with:
• International codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode, IS codes)
• Bar bending schedules and cut lengths calculation
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
