We are looking for a experienced Senior Rebar Detailer (ECC Design Studio - India) who is a specialized structural professional responsible for preparing precise reinforcement (rebar) drawings and shop details used in concrete construction projects


Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare rebar shop drawings
o Detailed drawings showing size, shape, spacing, and placement of reinforcement bars.
• Interpret structural drawings
o Work from structural engineer plans to create accurate detailing.
• Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
o Produce and manage cutting and bending schedules for fabrication.
• Coordination
o Work with structural engineers, site engineers, contractors, and fabricators.
• Quality & compliance
o Ensure designs follow relevant codes (ACI, BS, IS, etc.).
• Clash detection
o Identify and resolve conflicts using software tools before construction.
• Revision management
o Update drawings based on design changes or site requirements.
• Mentoring
o Guide junior detailers and review their work.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
A. Minimum Qualifications:
• Degree in Civil Engineering / Masters in Structural Engineering
B. Minimum Experience:
• 5–10+ years of experience in rebar detailing (for senior level)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
C. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
Knowledge of rebar detailing software such as:
• Revit (Structure)
• Tekla Structures
• CADS RC / ASD / Rebar CAD
Strong understanding of:
• Structural drawings and reinforcement detailing principles
• Concrete structures and construction practices
Familiarity with:
• International codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode, IS codes)
• Bar bending schedules and cut lengths calculation
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
