• The Architecture Team Leader is responsible for leading and managing architectural BIM production teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects in accordance with company standards, client requirements, project schedules, and quality expectations.
• The role involves coordinating architectural design development, BIM modelling workflows, team supervision, interdisciplinary coordination, and supporting the Project Manager in achieving project objectives.
• The Architecture Team Leader acts as the primary technical lead for architectural BIM deliverables and ensures efficient collaboration between architects, BIM coordinators, engineers, and project stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

 BIM:
• Lead Manage the development of architectural BIM models and project documentation.
• Ensure architectural models are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements.
• Review BIM models for quality, completeness, and compliance with LOD requirements.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes and design issues.
• Ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project protocols.
• Monitor model health, file management, and data integrity throughout project stages.
• Lead and supervise the architectural BIM team on assigned projects.
• Allocate tasks and monitor team productivity and performance.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to architects and BIM modelers.
• Ensure compliance with company BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of BIM architectural staff.
• Conduct periodic reviews of team deliverables and provide constructive feedback.
• Responsible for leading the BIM coordination & clash coordination across stakeholders
• Responsible for extracting & checking the quantities schedules from BIM models and ensures the integrity of information and its compliance to standards
• To supervise, coordinate and ensure quality of 3D BIM Model and its related data, identify clashes and document discrepancies in accordance with the EIR.
• Develop and enforce the project BIM Execution Plan and comply with the Master Information Delivery Plan based on the project specification.
• Perform regular audit and validate information to ensure the quality of the BIM model.

• To prepare the output schedule for BIM team in accordance with the project program & site requirements
• To carry out all BIM related coordination tasks, uncommon requests and be the link between BIM Team and Project teams / Departments.


 Engineering:
• Manage Assists in engineering works at the project and secure the necessary information for execution.
• Updates & monitors project Engineering logs [E1 & E2] and reports delays.
• Responsible for reviewing and submitting ECC shop drawings as per the assigned work engineering packages
• Participates in studying project specifications and BOQ and compares them with tendering documents and coordinates with the subcontractors and suppliers, provides the material submittal and ensures it’s as per the project specifications for submission
• Attends site clarifications and provide technical resolution.
• Follows up & obtains approvals of Employer and Engineer
• Provides technical support to shop drawing production team along with providing them with all necessary information.
• Prepares RFIs, red line sketches and correspondences whenever required
• Formalizes all Employer’s or Engineer’s changes and verbal instructions
• Reviews, compares and verifies scope changes on tender, IFC and other provided information and highlights and communicates the same to QS team for VO notification.
• Responsible for coordinating all design trades and subcontract scopes.
• Reviews Engineer’s comments and verify for VO / time impact and highlight the same to commercial team.
• Responsible for engineering compliance to the contract conditions, specifications and latest authority regulations.
• Coordinates and cooperates with other disciplines in identifying project requirements and scope of work of each subcontractor as per assigned work package.


 Project Delivery Support:
• Support the Project Manager in planning project schedules, manpower allocation, and deliverables.
• Track progress of architectural deliverables against project timelines.
• Identify project risks, technical issues, and resource constraints proactively.
• Ensure timely submission of models, drawings, and documentation.
• Assist in preparing project reports, progress updates, and client presentations.
• Participate in project planning and coordination meetings with clients and consultants.

 Quality Assurance & Technical Compliance:
• Implement and maintain BIM quality control procedures.
• Review architectural drawings and BIM outputs before submission.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, local authority regulations, and company procedures.
• Develop and improve BIM workflows, templates, libraries, and standards.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation within the BIM studio.

 Technical Responsibilities:
• Oversee Lead Architectural model development across conceptual, detailed design, and construction stages.
• Ensure proper setup and maintenance of Revit Architectural models and work-sharing environments.
• Support model-based quantity take-offs and construction sequencing when required.
• Assist in resolving technical BIM and Architectural modeling issues.
• Support automation and digital engineering initiatives within the BIM department.

A. Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture or related field.
• Conversant with International Standards and Specifications for Construction/production.
B. Minimum Experience:
• Minimum 10 to 15 years of Architectural Design & Coordination experience with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within a BIM environment.
• Strong experience in large-scale & High rise, BIM and multidisciplinary projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, BIM workflows, and ISO 19650 and Project delivery processes.
• Experience in Multidisciplinary coordination and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with GCC/UAE authority requirements and construction practices is an advantage.
